Network ball above a City

IoT (Internet of Things) works with smart devices, these are similar to computers and are networked with other devices locally or via the Internet. They need to be equbited with sensors, software, and connectivity capabilities, allowing them to collect and exchange data over the internet. In most cases, the device sends information to a cloud. There, the data is processed, made accessible as the basis for further services. The data generated by IoT devices can be used for various purposes, including monitoring, control, automation, optimization, and gaining insights for decision-making.

It connects physical objects with the virtual world.

IoT technology relies on a combination of hardware (sensors and actuators), connectivity (like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or cellular networks), and software (which processes and analyzes the data collected).
