June 1, 2024

Cloud computing is the on-demand availability of computer system resources, in particular data storage and computing power, without direct active management by the user.

'Public Cloud' resources are shared by multiple users across multiple organizations, accessible through the internet and are hosted by a cloud provider typically in multiple facilities.

Large Public Cloud Providers include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
