Re-ID löst dieses Problem, indem Personen eine eindeutige, anonyme Person-ID zugewiesen wird. Dadurch können Personen auch über voneinander isolierte Kameraperspektiven hinweg wiedererkannt und so nur einmal gezählt werden.
