Custom Model

Every environment is different, and Perception 5 adapts accordingly. The new Custom Model feature allows users to decide exactly what the system detects.

  • Person Model: Detects both person and head for precise crowd analytics.
  • Traffic Model: Recognizes pedestrian, bicycle, motorbike, car, van, bus, truck, and heavy truck.
  • Public Transport Model: Detects head, person, luggage, train, bicycle, and wheelchair.
  • Additional Models: Includes classes such as bicycle, car, motorcycle, airplane, bus, train, traffic light, parking meter, umbrella, snowboard, and many more.

Beyond choosing detection classes, you can:

  • Blur or pixelate selected objects for privacy protection.
  • Define classes for geo-referencing or group detection.

This flexibility makes Custom Model highly adaptable — whether monitoring urban traffic, public transport stations, or large public gatherings. For example, the Person model can distinguish between individuals and heads, ensuring precision in crowd analysis and compliance with privacy requirements.

Isarsoft Detection Classes

Recording

With Recording, Perception 5 makes it easy to capture and store video segments directly from the platform.

  • All detected persons are anonymized by default.
  • Recordings can be used for audits, training, documentation, or stakeholder updates.
  • Ensures no important moment is overlooked.

This feature provides a reliable way to review past events while maintaining data protection and compliance standards.

Advanced Applications

The Advanced Applications feature gives users deeper control over their analytics workflows.

  • Adjust sensitivity and detection thresholds to match different environments.
  • Anonymize specific classes for privacy.
  • Configure geo-reference and group detection rules.
  • Define tracking groups and belonging pairs for better accuracy.

Whether in busy public spaces or controlled industrial sites, Advanced Applications make it possible to fine-tune Perception 5 for the most reliable results.

Late Count

Counting does not always happen in a single moment. With Late Count, Perception 5 ensures accurate analytics even when people or objects are detected after the initial counting point.

  • Define where late arrivals should be counted.
  • Prevent double counting.
  • Maintain compliance with automatic pixelation.

This feature ensures that data remains both complete and precise, even in dynamic environments where arrivals are spread out over time.

Moving Forward with Perception 5

With these four new features, Perception 5 offers more flexibility, more accuracy, and stronger privacy protection. It is designed to adapt to real-world environments — whether for public safety, industrial monitoring, or data-driven decision-making.
