Isarsoft and PKE are pleased to announce the successful installation of an AI-powered video-based visitor counting system at the Wien Museum. Following an extensive evaluation period, the Wien Museum selected the solution by Isarsoft and PKE for its advanced capabilities and proven reliability.

After a comprehensive renovation and expansion, the Wien Museum reopened on December 6, 2023. The newly deployed counting system has been strategically installed at key locations throughout the museum, particularly at entrances and exits, to gather valuable insights into visitor movement patterns.

The visitor counting system developed by Isarsoft and PKE leverages AI-powered video analytics to enhance planning, operational efficiency, and security at the Wien Museum. By delivering detailed insights into visitor flow, the system helps optimize foot traffic and reduce queuing, significantly enhancing the overall visitor experience.

Furthermore, the system provides precise and reliable traffic data, aiding the museum in effective resource and staff allocation.

At the Wien Museum, Mr. Fruhauf played a key role in the procurement and implementation of the solution. Commenting on its impact, he stated:

"Even with a dedicated team, compiling and analyzing visitor data used to take days, sometimes even weeks, particularly during major exhibitions. Thanks to Isarsoft Perception, this process has now been automated and completed in a fraction of the time."

Future directions for the Wien Museum

The partnership with Isarsoft and PKE is a vital development initiative for the Wien Museum, which aims to improve operations and customer satisfaction further. This collaboration aligns with current museum trends and economic perspectives and demonstrates a commitment to meeting industry standards and setting new benchmarks. Introducing AI video analytics in this project represents a significant step forward in bringing a futuristic perspective to museums and combining history and modern technologies.

Before implementing AI video analytics, the Wien Museum manually recorded visitor numbers using click counters. Today, this process is fully automated, eliminating the risk of human error. This advancement enables the Wien Museum to collect continuous and precise visitor traffic and occupancy data across its various exhibitions.

Intelligent video analytics provide high accuracy and efficiency in monitoring visitor flow. Combining Isarsoft’s advanced analytics capabilities with PKE’s systems integration expertise, the Wien Museum has optimized its operations and positioned itself as a model for forward-thinking museum management.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
